Starting an internet radio station is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. So like most boomers I went back to my younger days cruising in my car on the streets around the Detroit area, Like my favorite Woodward Ave. Gratiot Ave. 8 Mile Rd. & Telegraph Rd. My favorite radio station was CKLW. It was an AM station that played the top songs and made the cruising a great time. But as things do changes happen we started getting FM stations. The auto factories started putting in car radios that would get both AM & Fm. Fm would play songs that Am station would not, and the one AM played they would block out some words in the songs, yes the times were a changing.By 1984 CKLW Am stopped playing the rock music. That was a said time. But at least for now I have very fond memories of that great Canadian radio station.

You can still listen to CKLW’s talk station they have some good shows. I use to listen to them at night.
